Hi, my name is Mandy Jo Smith. I am the owner of Solpets. Solpets is a free virtual pet site I started when I was in high school and worked on/off throughout the years. Solpets became a idea of mine because I wanted a 100% free and ad-free virtual pet site with beautiful art work. I came up with the name because "Sol" means "Sun" in Japanese.

I like road trips, baking, and being outdoors around nature. In my free time I am most likely programming on Solpets . . or watching TV.

Right now it is me and my 2 cats Tigger (boy) and Ruby (girl). They like to chase each other around the house and drive me nuts.

My first concert I am proud to say was Blink-182, My Chemical Romance and Neon Trees on September 8, 2011 in Des Moines, IA. My first Vans Warped Tour was on July 8, 2012 in Shakopee, MN. I used to go to a lot of concerts. Covid really changed that.

The past is only the future with the lights on. :)
